Welcome to the Clube de Vela de Lagos "site" on internet, most of our pages are in portuguese, we'll try to translate the maximum.
The C.V.L. is a puclic utility organisation, very active in the town of lagos, organizing sailing regatas, under water fishing competitions, and other activities related to the sea.
The C.V.L. facilities are located in the entrance of the Lagos Port and Marina, and is organizing the Dart 98 European Championship.

This is a Yatch regata, made betwen Portugal and Spain, Every year it alternates the departure from Lagos to Palos, this is one of the most famous regatas in the south Europe, and is open to sailing boats from all the countries.
The regata was so sucessfull that it brought together the 2 towns of Lagos (Portugal) and Palos (Spain), in a gemination process.
